BARISTA SCHOOL: 90-Minute Crash Courses
In practical 90-minute crash courses, you will learn how to use a coffee grinder and an espresso machine professionally.
Restaurateurs, hoteliers, café owners and apprentices who want to improve the quality of their coffee and, in turn, their turnover can learn everything worth knowing during the BARISTA SCHOOL from experienced coffee professionals in the industry. Topics include adjusting the machines, roasting and preparing coffee.
Barista 90-Minute Crash Course A: Barista Craft and Coffee Knowledge
This crash course is led by Stefan Puitl, head of the TURM Coffee Academy in Munich. It provides basic knowledge about coffee, from cultivation to the cup. The focus is on how grinder and machine work together, and on the steps a barista takes when preparing coffee. Participants then practise preparing coffee themselves under guidance. Maximum number of participants: 10 people. Spectators are welcome.
Espresso Tasting
In the espresso tasting, participants learn to assess different types of espresso and to appreciate their diversity. The course is led by Johannes Hannig, a certified Espresso Italiano trainer at EspressoPool. Maximum number of participants: 10 people.
Barista 90-Minute Crash Course B: Barista Easy, Becoming a Barista Even Faster Thanks to Smart Technology
In this crash course, experts from the Barista School team show how technical solutions enable less experienced staff to achieve consistently high quality in cappuccino, flat white and latte macchiato. The course is particularly suitable for businesses with frequent staff turnover. Maximum number of participants: 10 people. Spectators are welcome.
