Information and entertainment on the biggest stage
The German hotel and restaurant association DEHOGA is the biggest organisation for the gastronomy and hotel industry, and presented a wide variety of interviews, discussions, speeches and competitions on all five days of INTERGASTRA 2026. What are your guests concerned about? Which trends are catching on? DEHOGA provided answers with real added value and important impulses for tomorrow's business.
Who will shine on the big stage?
One innovation followed hard on the heels of the other during the Startup-BW Elevator Pitch – DEHOGA Cup 2026: the participants had three minutes here to present exciting and sustainable ideas. The start-ups rised to the challenge full of motivation since there was not only cash prizes to win. The winners of the DEHOGA Cup were also able to present their business idea during INTERGASTRA 2026 and forge contacts in the start-up scene. For the winning start-up, consultancy services, a training programme or marketing services from the Baden-Württemberg branch of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) were provided. Moreover, the winning start-up secured a place in the Regional Final of the Start-up BW Elevator Pitches and probably become the state winner.
The DEHOGA CUP is organized in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism and its state campaign Start-up BW. The prize money is provided by L-Bank.
