General information

The 38th Party Congress of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) took place on 20 and 21 February 2026 at Messe Stuttgart. The focus of the conference was the regular election of the Federal Executive Committee. The event was marked by a strong sense of unity and a clear shared determination to shape the future.
In addition to personnel decisions, the delegates passed landmark decisions regarding future political work.
A total of around 1,000 delegates, as well as numerous guests and media representatives,
attended the party congress at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre.
