Edmund Optics strengthens executive team to advance technology leadership and operational performance
First, Edmund Optics welcomes Edward (Ed) Manley as its new Chief Financial Officer. Manley brings more than 30 years of global finance leadership experience across manufacturing, distribution, transformations, and integrations. His career includes senior finance roles at Zoll Medical, Tyco International, Brooks Instrument, American Standard, and Vyaire Medical. As a CPA with an MBA, he combines strong financial expertise with deep operational insight and a collaborative leadership style well aligned with Edmund Optics’ culture.
Jeff Harvey has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. With more than 25 years at Edmund Optics, Harvey offers extensive institutional knowledge and leadership experience across nearly every part of the business. Most recently as Chief Innovation Officer, he led the enterprise-wide transformation focused on modernization, quality, sustainability, digitalization, and the company’s forward-looking organizational structure. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Operations and held key roles across IS/IT, Service and Inventory Management, and Supply Chain. As COO, he will oversee operational strategy and ensure seamless execution across the organization.
Edmund Optics is also pleased to announce the return of Todd Sierer, who re-joins the company as President of Edmund Optics’ Marketplace Business after a series of successful leadership roles outside the organization. Sierer previously spent more than seven years at Edmund Optics in senior positions across Product Marketing, Asia Marketing, and ultimately Americas Sales and Marketing. He later served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nelson Labs and most recently as Vice President of Global Sales at Quantum Machines. Bringing both deep familiarity with Edmund Optics and expanded global market perspective, Sierer will help drive the next phase of growth for the Marketplace Division.
Together, these leadership appointments combine external expertise, returning experience enriched by perspectives gained outside the company, and the continued advancement of internal talent. They underscore Edmund Optics’ commitment to a strong leadership team that champions innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth for customers, partners, and employees worldwide.
