Traditionally, a jury of experienced image processing experts shortlists the most promising developments and publishes them on the VISION website and in the VISION catalogue. The British industry journal Imaging and Machine Vision Europe sponsors the award which is endowed with €5,000 and will report about the submitted innovations before the VISION show. For companies with exceptionally forward-looking developments, it therefore pays to join the competition. The winners of the 2018 awards for the most outstanding innovation in image processing will be announced at the VISION opening press conference.
