Hygiene concept for trade fairs

The safety and health of our visitors, guests and employees have always been our highest priority. Our aim is to ensure that you continue to feel safe and comfortable with us.

For our fair Touristik & Caravaning, we would like to highlight the following central points from the officially approved hygiene concept for holding trade fairs at the Leipzig Exhibition Centre:

"This is enabled by the latest Corona Protection Ordinance and the latest General Decree on the Enforcement of the Infection Protection Act issued by the Saxon State Government, expressly permitting trade fairs and congresses to be held under an approved hygiene concept."

  • Both Messe Stuttgart and Leipziger Messe will do everything necessary to ensure that the recommended minimum distance of 1.50 meters. can be maintained wherever possible.
  • There is no general obligation to wear masks. Wearing a mouth-nose cover is recommended, especially if the minimum distance cannot be maintained.
  • The number of visitors on site at the same time will be around 15.000 for the TC according to official regulations (plus exhibitor personnel and plus staff). We have not yet reached this number of visitors present at the same time in the last two years.
  • When planning the halls, we will, wherever possible, include an aisle width of 4 meters.
  • Visitor tickets will only be available in our online shop and only be valid for a preselected date
  • All exhibitors are responsible for compliance with the SARS-CoV-2 occupational safety standards and the valid Corona Protection Ordinance on their own.
  • The stand design must comply with the Corona Protection Ordinance and observe the minimum distance (and any compensation measures).
  • Contact surfaces should be cleaned regularly.
  • Daily documentation on the present (stand) personnel must be kept.

Important information and details of the different measures and recommendations for exhibitors and visitors can be found here.

It is in the interest and responsibility of all of us to follow these rules and to show consideration for each other.

We will be glad to answer all your questions you may have.
