The vacation mood was well palpable at Leipziger Messe’s five-day holiday exhibition: 56,900 visitors streamed into the halls, ready to be inspired by the latest holiday offers at Touristik & Caravaning Leipzig 2024. Vacation offers for camper van, cruise ship, aeroplane or hiking – Central Germany’s largest holiday exhibition provided the perfect platform for every kind of travel experience.

  • The themes of caravaning, tourism, the outdoors and cuisine cater to all visitor requirements.
  • Big catchment area: More than a third of visitors travelled more than 100 km to come to the trade fair.
  • Excellent overall feedback: The trade fair received an overall rating of 1.8 (on a scale of 1-6, with 1 being the highest rating). 85% would recommend the event to others.
  • A great deal to discover: The visitors spent an average of 4.1 hours at the trade fair.
  • With a population of almost 600,000, Leipzig is the most populated city in Saxony and one of Germany’s fastest growing major cities. It enjoys superb connections to the rest of Europe by road and rail, making travel to the city and trade fair easier for everyone.
