Successful start to T4M07.05.2019 - 14:00
T4M offers development and production managers, engineers and buyers, but also scientists an ideal overview of the latest technologies in the industry and an exclusive opportunity for the transfer of know-how. The clear emphasis on the manufacturing and production of medical technology products brings the right persons together in Stuttgart and promises valuable business contacts. Future-oriented perspectives are provided by more than 55 innovative start-ups in the exhibition and on the pitching stage, but also by over 130 talks, the guided tours of the trade fair and the numerous workshops – important input which will help manufacturers and distributors of medical technology products in their everyday work. "Trade fairs live from innovations and networking, not least in medical technology. We are convinced that in T4M we have a developed a trade fair concept which can secure a permanent place in trade fair calendars in the long term," added Kromer.
The proximity to important medical technology regions in France and Switzerland, but also location advantages such as the modern trade fair centre, the ideal transport connections and the pronounced service orientation of Messe Stuttgart are additional arguments in favour of T4M as the new medical technology trade fair in southern Germany.
T4M impresses through its proximity to the industry
The concept of the new trade fair was tailored exactly to the needs of exhibitors and visitors. The close cooperation with the medical technology industry is an important aspect of the successful recipe. The trade fair advisory panel, supporters or promotional supporters - all of them are impressed with the results. "In Germany we have a large number of leading international trade fairs for mechanical engineering, but medical technology only plays a subordinate role at most of them," said Niklas Kuczaty, Managing Director of the VDMA Medical Technology Working Group. "It is now possible to create a platform for production engineering in medical technology for the first time within the framework of T4M in Stuttgart," added Kuczaty. As the promotional supporter, the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) has great participation opportunities which also impressed the members of the organisation. For the first time since the establishment of the Medical Technology Working Group, a total of 17 companies will be presented on an area covering 150 square metres.
A good dozen other VDMA companies will also be represented at the trade fair.
With Swiss Medtech, another well networked regional cooperation partner is assisting T4M as the promotional supporter. "Our survey of members shows that Baden-Württemberg is well ahead in terms of exhibitors. Since Messe Stuttgart also operates with an extremely high service level, we decided to pool both our expertise for the medical technology industry," said Jonas Frey, Project Manager at the Swiss industry association Swiss Medtech.
Date for 2020
Due to the close exchange with representatives from the medical technology industry and renowned supporters such as Medical Mountains, BME and BioPro Baden-Württemberg, the foundations have been ideally laid to establish T4M in the long term. The clear emphasis on the manufacturing and production of medical technology products, but also the high quality and efficiency orientation of the trade fair concept will also contribute to the positive further development of T4M. The next T4M will be held at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre from 5 to 7 May 2020.
