Innovative networking format: T4M meet2match
Contacts during the pandemic and beyond. This is what the new networking format of the T4M team at Messe Stuttgart and the VDMA Working Group Medical Technology promises. Supported by many partners in the industry, a new networking format for the medical technology sector that puts the person in the centre will take place for the first time from 6 - 7 July 2021. Meeting point is an English-language online platform.
The networking format “T4M meet2match“ provides a solution to counteract the effects of the pandemic and the resulting travel restrictions that make networking significantly more difficult. The format connects supplier companies from the medical technology sector with manufacturers and distributors of medical products, but also founders and start-ups in the industry. In contrast to a (digital) business trade fair, the focus at T4M meet2match is on the person. From 6 - 7 July 2021, participants will for the first time have the opportunity to make new international contacts, foster their networks, obtain information about current topics and get into active exchange in the new format. As in the trade fair T4M – Technology for Medical Devices, important industry associations and partners including Swiss Medtech and MedicalMountain are involved in terms of content and communication of T4M meet2match.
“We have looked intensively at the needs and challenges of the medical technology industry and tested numerous options. Eventually, we will stay true to our brand promise to rethink products and processes. With T4M meet2match we offer the market an individual and above all innovative solution that has the potential to accompany T4M – Technology for Medical Devices for a longer time,” says Christoph Utz of the T4M project team.
The digital network format incorporates well-proven features: Matchmaking, making appointments, chats, video calls and group discussions. A special highlight is the networking carousel that guarantees chance encounters, new international contacts and valuable leads in a very short time. The accompanying programme to the networking provides inspiration for the talks with new contacts. It consists of a company index of the supplying industry as well as a lecture programme including company and start-up pitches. The network-focussed approach also differs from many (digital) business trade fairs in the pricing design. T4M meet2match is completely financed by the attendance fees of €55 for the regular ticket (Early booking price: €25, subject to availability). Companies can position themselves with an entry in the company index from €300. By booking limited advertising placements and participating in the lecture programme, they can further expand their visibility with every module.
