Certified figures facilitate orientation04.06.2019 - 10:50
In order to be able to make available valid and independent data about T4M, Technology for Medical Devices, to exhibitors and visitors, Messe Stuttgart arranged to have its new trade fair certified for the première event by the Society of Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM). In doing so the event organiser wants to provide customers, partners and interested parties with objective parameters, thus facilitating their decision for future participation or a visit to T4M. Since 1965, FKM has been certifying and publishing trade fair and exhibition statistics in Germany and is considered a quality seal of the industry. It ensures that trade fair figures cannot be modified or "dressed up" for marketing or PR purposes.
"The certification of a début event is not necessarily common", admits Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, CEO of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH. "We consciously decided to arrange this certification at such an early stage because we want to offer the medical technology industry guidance with reliable figures. For us transparency is an indispensable commodity and the basis of a trustworthy cooperation."
3,163 visitors, 16 percent of whom came from outside Germany, 65 percent from Baden-Württemberg, another 14 percent from Bavaria, as well as 6 percent from North Rhine-Westphalia – these are some of the figures of the first T4M which took place from 7 to 9 May that were registered for the FKM inspection, and with which Messe Stuttgart was satisfied for the première event. Kromer von Baerle emphasized in particular that this data is important for us as an event organiser in order to analyse exactly where we stand, what potential we can still exhaust and where we are headed – in the best interests of our partners, customers and visitors." Planning security is also fundamental for the scheduling of T4M by the exhibitors and visitors: T4M, Technology for Medical Devices, takes place again from 5 to 7 May 2020 and coincides with Control, the international trade fair for quality assurance. Halls have already been reserved on the West side for the next event.back to overview
