A trade fair for founders and investors

The accompanying programme at T4M from 7 - 9 May will all revolve around founders, start-ups and investors.

With the UNIQA foundation, the largest owner in the UNIQA Group, one of the oldest insurance companies in Austria, supports T4M. With UNIQA Ventures, it also specifically tries to attract start-ups. Here, a total of 25 million Euro is available to FinTech and InsurTech for the topic of health. UNIQA also supports other programmes and projects, such as the Impact Hub or Female Founders. Investment manager Nikolaus Wrabetz will be present at the T4M Start-up World on 7 May in Stuttgart and participate in the panel discussion "What market challenges do start-ups in medical technology encounter?"  On 8 May, Tobias Winter will speak about a new participation portfolio for established companies and on the same day also take part in the panel discussion on the theme "How can medium-sized companies in the medical technology sector grow strategically with innovations?"

Start-ups and company foundation is also a big issue in Baden-Württemberg. The Stuttgart-based Business Angel Network has meanwhile grown to include 50 members, many of whom are former entrepreneurs from the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical technology. The objective is to support founders not only financially, but also with their expertise, especially also for start-ups from the health sector or medical technology. The Business Angel Network will be represented at T4M at the Start-up World. At the Startup Bootcamp, Andreas Chatzis will portray what founders in the health sector can expect from digitalisation with its opportunities, potentials and challenges.

Not only with the MDR did the owner-run and technology-oriented medical technical medium-sized business become of interest to investors who are focused not only on this industrial sector. The company em-tec GmbH in Finningen found the right partner with an affiliated company in the course of the successor regulation. At T4M, em-tec Managing Director Markus Traxler will report on his experiences on the pitching stage in a presentation and during the panel discussion on 8 May.

All the programme points on the pitching stage can be found here.
