New date for anniversary event
SÜFFA, the trade fair for the meat industry, will no longer be taking place at the start of October next year as planned, but instead from 7 to 9 November 2020. However, the event will still be held over the course of three days, from Saturday to Monday, a concept which has proven popular among visitors and exhibitors. Opening hours on Saturday also remain unchanged: from 1 pm to 8 pm. On Sunday and Monday, SÜFFA will be open as usual from 10 am to 6 pm. “By postponing the event, we are again providing visitors, exhibitors and partners with an ideal time slot in what is a tight autumn trade fair schedule,” explains Andreas Wiesinger, Member of the Board of Management for Messe Stuttgart.
SÜFFA celebrating 25 years
It all began back in October 1984, when SÜFFA (then with just one “F”) started out as southern Germany's trade fair for the butcher trade on the old trade fair grounds in Stuttgart. This trade fair has been transformed into a leading event for the meat industry across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A platform that brings people and markets together, where promising contacts are made and successful agreements signed on the dotted line.
The 25th anniversary of SÜFFA will provide industry professionals with a broad programme; everything from traditional crafts to specialisation to large-scale production. Exhibitors will be showcasing their innovative products, ideas and trends from 7 to 9 November 2020 on more than 20,000 square metres of exhibition space. Making this upcoming SÜFFA event the one to top all others for those in the meat processing industry - and one that cannot be missed!
The power of movement
When it boils down to it, the meat industry is really no different to the others:
meaning anyone who moves with the times, gets ahead! In recent years, customers have become more demanding, they want better quality and variety. This is a chance for the meat industry to score points with fresh produce, providing customers with regional products, as well as seasonal offers such as summer BBQ specialities or autumn game. There is also still plenty of potential for developing the perennial concept of the off-site catering service. A great opportunity to impress existing customers and acquire new ones.
SÜFFA is providing the platform necessary for fantasy and creativity to flourish, along with the entire scope of services for the butcher trade – from production to the end customer. This includes everything from abattoir technology to production and logistics, packaging and retail sales to merchandise, marketing, data processing, disposal, food safety and hygiene.
For additional business through convenience or gourmet foods, visitors can expect to find a wealth of inspiration when it comes to expanding their range.
