Voices on SÜFFA 2024

  • "For us, SÜFFA is one of the most important trade fairs in the southern region of Germany, and we were once again very impressed with the quality of the discussions we held here. There is currently a widespread shortage of skills, which is why flexible 24/7 solutions are very much in demand. This was also one of the key issues addressed here at the trade fair. We were well connected at this event right from the start and received plenty of concrete enquiries."

Silke Munk, Architect/Sales, Kramer Ladenbau GmbH

  • "Game continues to be a topic of interest at SÜFFA, which is not really surprising considering how much it features in many a butcher’s shop. Consumption of game is rising, especially as consumers these days are just as concerned about animal welfare as they are about their own health – and wild animals enjoy a natural diet in a life free from captivity. We were able to provide plenty of information and our hunter licence offer also generated plenty of interest. To sum up, it was a rewarding experience here at SÜFFA and we’ll certainly be returning again.."

Samuel Golter, Divisional Management, State Guild Association for the Butcher’s Trade in Baden-Württemberg

  • "This was our first time attending SÜFFA and our plan was to generate more awareness for our company. We largely met with skilled enterprises here, whose requirements we are more than able to meet. There was an excellent response from visitors and we far exceeded our expectations right from day one. We made plenty of valuable contacts and were more than pleasantly surprised by the feedback we received!"

Richard Werner, Group Leader, Pacovis Deutschland GmbH

  • "We are new to SÜFFA. In the first 24 hours, we had so many leads, more than at any other trade fair! This is where the skilled tradesmen, the managers and the decisionmakers all meet, it meant plenty of concrete enquiries right from the start. We really had a great time here, it couldn’t have gone better!"

Thomas Binzer, Founder and Authorised Representative, Payprocess GmbH

  • "We were delighted with the standard of quality we found in the discussions held here at SÜFFA, they were open and sincere. The visitors were interested in what we had to offer, they stopped and chatted with us, listened to our advice and ensured our time here at the trade fair was a success. It was particularly nice to see that many of the butcher shops today are being continued by the next generation, there is certainly enough young talent to make this happen. I’m looking forward to seeing how this develops!"

Claudia Diedrichsen, Marketing and Communication, Sealpac GmbH

  • "SÜFFA was a popular event and it went very well for us. We were particularly impressed with the focus on skilled trade at this trade fair. There were plenty of visitors to our stand, we were extremely busy and enjoyed some very productive discussions. I’m optimistic that there will be plenty of business to follow up on in the coming weeks. We are very happy with how everything went."

Madeleine Blank, Marketing and Communication, Vemag Maschinenbau GmbH

  • "This was our first time here as a representative of our new brand, which was very well received. The perhaps slightly reticent mood within the industry has certainly gained pace again – there were very positive signals here at SÜFFA and within the wider scope of the trade fair. We had plenty to discuss and also the opportunity to further promote this trade, of which we are very proud. Our affiliated companies were also more than impressed."

Rainer Laabs, Board Spokesperson, Zentrag eG

  • "There was a great atmosphere at SÜFFA and our attention was drawn to a new prepackaging trend, a consequence of the shortage of skilled labour. Our solutions were well received; there is definitely a willingness to invest by those in this industry. Many new customers came to our stand, along with numerous regular clients, and we were busy doing business right from the start. This was an important event for us and it paid off."

Jan Zeinstra, Export, Gebr. Graef GmbH & Co.KG

  • "We wanted to make an impression with our stand and I think we succeeded. We were delighted to receive very positive feedback right from the very first day. Many visitors to our stand are looking to renovate or partially renovate, and we were inundated with concrete project enquiries. We are satisfied with our participation in the trade fair and very happy with how everything went here in Stuttgart. SÜFFA is also an important trend barometer, and reflects the reality of the industry overall."

Jaqueline Wiederhold, Head of Marketing, Ladenbau Hunold GmbH

  • "SÜFFA is a mandatory event in our calendar. We are given the opportunity here to present our entire range of products and services, and are very much impressed by the quality and response of the public. Many of the visitors are directly involved in the craft, however we also spoke with partners representing trade and industry. There were a large number of owner-managed businesses represented here at SÜFFA, which paints an optimistic picture for the future of the sector. The SÜFFA Team Cup was another highlight that demonstrated the passion of the young talent ready to take over at the helm."

Petra Heer, Product Manager, Friedrich Dick GmbH & Co. KG
