Carlo-Wildt Trophy
Competition for Young Pastry Talent
At the Carlo Wildt Cup, aspiring pastry chefs show what they are made of. The apprenticeship competition organized by the Baden-Württemberg State Guild Association of the Pastry Trade is aimed at trainees in their second or third year of training.
In 2026, the competition will be held under the theme “Magic of the Craft.” Participants will decorate a small cake live in front of an audience.
Process & judging
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- All decorative elements must be made during the competition
- Judging is based on criteria such as cleanliness, color harmony, and craftsmanship
- The best participants will be awarded the Carlo Wildt Cup as well as prize money
The competition will take place from October 24 to 27, 2026, at Messe Stuttgart.
