SACHSENBACK: First sector meeting place in coming year

Planning has started / Face-to-face event for the bakery and confectionery trade from 2 to 4 April 2022

The preparations for SACHSENBACK as the first sector meeting place have started. "As the first trade fair for the bakery and confectionery trade in the coming year, SACHSENBACK will again provide visitors with the opportunity for excellent discussions, personal customer care and attractive impulses for their own businesses. Together with our partners, in 2022 we will organise a strong programme. We are looking forward to a SACHSENBACK with its finger on the pulse of the times – and an event that will enjoy a high level of approval from the skilled trades, professional world and the young generation," says Andreas Wiesinger, member of the Board of Management at Messe Stuttgart. "During these times, exhibitors and specialist visitors particularly miss the dialogue and intensive exchange of ideas and opinions, and are all the more delighted that this will now again be possible at SACHSENBACK 2022," Wiesinger continues.

For three days, the trade fair centre in Dresden will be the centre point for the bakery and confectionery trade in central and eastern Germany. Opportunities for inspirational discussions, customer care and the specialist exchange of ideas will make SACHSENBACK 2022 an important meeting place for the baking industry.

In this regard, Teoman Yanikoglu, Project Manager for SACHSENBACK, says: "We are currently involved in intensive discussions with our partners to arrange the specialist programme. With respect to the further preparations for SACHSENBACK, we have already started communicating with the exhibitors and will begin allocating the floor space in the halls in the autumn."

Highlights at the traditional meeting point in Dresden will include working and operating technology, raw materials, merchandise, shop fixtures and fittings, sales promotion, as well as services associated with the baking trade. The trade fair offer will be complemented by a practical and innovative accompanying programme, including, among other things, the Bakery Forum. The safety measures at the Dresden Trade Fair Centre will include the continual adjustment of the hygiene and room regulations. With a detailed protection and hygiene concept, the Dresden Trade Fair Centre will provide the framework for the safe implementation of SACHSENBACK 2022. The long-term partners of SACHSENBACK, the Saxonia State Association of Guilds for the baking trade in Saxony, and the cooperatives BÄKO Ost (East), Mitteldeutschland (Central Germany) and Erzgebirge/Vogtland, will be actively involved in organising the coming edition of the trade fair. Manuela Lohse, Director of the Saxonia State Association of Guilds for the baking trade in Saxony, looks forward with confidence to the event in spring 2022: "SACHSENBACK will probably be the first sector meeting, the first bakery trade fair after the lockdown. It will be the opportunity for Saxony and the central and eastern German region for the restart of the bakery trade. Business concepts have been adjusted in the period of the lockdown. SACHSENBACK will provide the first opportunity to implement new ideas and to take part in direct discussions with the exhibitors. We are all yearning for face-to-face conversations with each other. SACHSENBACK is a family meeting for bakers," says Manuela Lohse, Director of the Saxonia State Association of Guilds for the baking trade in Saxony.
