"That was the best R+T ever", agreed the exhibitors and visitors of the leading world trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection systems. R+T was once again in top form and with the topics of energy efficiency and building safety, which are on the political agenda worldwide, met with huge interest among the 58,080 visitors.

The global significance of the R+T exhibition portfolio is manifested in the international character of the visitors, which is stable at 50 percent. They travelled from 125 countries to Stuttgart (2009: 106 countries). Approximately 85 percent came from Europe, primarily from France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Austria. But specialist visitors from the rest of Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Central America, Australia, Oceania, as well as the Near and Middle East, also travelled to Stuttgart. "I came from Tel Aviv in the morning and flew back again in the evening", reported Daniel Avner, International Sales Manager at Profal Ltd. in Israel. The location of the trade fair centre directly beside Stuttgart Airport made it easier for visitors from all over the world to travel to the event.
