
The next edition of R+T - World's leading trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection systems will be postponed to 21 – 25 February 2022. This decision was reached in close exchange and after many intensive discussions with all partners, supporting associations, the exhibitors’ advisory board and leading manufacturers in the industry. A comprehensive exhibitor survey confirms the decision and proves that from today’s point of view, especially due to high degree of internationality and the very long preparation phase, R+T could not be conducted reliably and in the usual quality.
However, the postponement of R+T creates new opportunities for the industry: In 2021, exhibitors and partners will have the opportunity to present their product novelties to the worldwide network at R+T digital. The heart of this digital event will be the R+T Innovation Award that will take place in February 2021 as a hybrid event. You want to know more? Further information will follow soon. The postponement of R+T 2022 results from many intensive discussions with our promotional and technical supporters, the Exhibitor Advisory Board and important manufacturers. In addition, a comprehensive survey of national and international exhibitors has been carried out over the last few weeks, mainly in personal contact, which also provided a very clear result. It shows that due to the high level of internationality and the extremely long preparation phase of R+T in particular it is not possible to conduct an R+T reliably and in the accustomed quality at the current time. With this postponement, we would like to provide to our exhibitors and partners the greatest possible planning safety and provide full access to our world-wide network as they are used to and familiar with.

Within this framework, the R+T Innovation Award will be presented in a live event according to the original planning. If you are a registered and stand confirmed exhibitor of R+T, you will soon receive a Change of Registration form you can use to register for the new date. The contract concluded already with the stand confirmation will be transferred to R+T 2022 with the Change of Registration form. All down payments made so far will stay with Messe Stuttgart as advance payment for the new date. You can also inform us on the Change of Registration form if you do not wish to participate in R+T 2022.
The earlier, the better! In order to secure the confirmed stand you should return the filled in Change of Registration form to the project team by Oct 2020.
We cannot provide any information on contracts of customers with third parties, as these were not concluded with Messe Stuttgart. This also applies to hotel bookings. Nevertheless, we have informed all hotels in Stuttgart about the postponement already and asked for reasonable rebookings in your interest.
Our exhibitors can cancel their participation free of charge. In this case, advance payments already made for the stand area will be remitted.
Registration as new exhibitor is still possible. Registration documents will be available again soon. Please contact the project team if you are interested.
