For the 12th time already, the R+T Innovation Award will be presented as part of the R+T trade fair.  Anyone who is not content with the status quo, is looking for better solutions and brings their idea to market maturity is already one of the creative leaders in their industry. Every exhibitor of R+T is cordially invited to take part and apply for the R+T 2024 Innovation Award.

The award will jointly be presented by the Federal Association for Manufacturers of Roller Shutters and Sun Protection, the BVT (National Federation of Door and Gate Manufacturers), the Industrial Association of Technical Textiles - Roller Shutters - Sun Protection and Messe Stuttgart in the following categories:

The R+T Innovation Award honours future-oriented technical developments. In front of the professionals in the sector, it showcases exemplary innovations from the industry that were launched on the market for the first time or have been developed up to market maturity in 2022.

Digital application process

We have made it easier for you to participate. As a company, you can submit your products and solutions digitally via our platform for both the pre-judging and the final judging. In the final judging session, a video presentation (maximum 5 minutes) replaces a presentation of the innovation on site, as was the case with previous final judgements. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, 18 February 2024 as a live event in a festive setting.

You do not need a flight, train, car or hotel.

Additional trips to Stuttgart are avoided.

International

The digital process makes it easier for global companies to participate.

Peter Winters has been associated with ES-SO European Solar Shading Organisation since its origin end 2004 where he was one of the co-founders, and then became a member of the Board of Directors. From 2010 onwards he became the President of ES-SO  and today he still its Vice-President.  Professionally, he has fully built his career in the solar shading sector where he first started at Helioscreen Belgium in 1989 and moved in 1991 to Dickson-Constant till where he held until 2021 various positions as PR and Sales Director Europe and also built a competence centre with a leading role for the sector.  In addition to his positions in ES-SO where he was many times around Europe asked as a guest speaker, he remains connected today as a consultant in the European Solar Shading Business .
