Exhibition profile
NORTEC will take place at the Hamburg exhibition grounds from February 3 - 5, 2026. With a clear focus, a tighter schedule and a fresh new look, it will strengthen its position in the industry.
"The trade fair date in the north at the beginning of even-numbered years is firmly established in the industry and is consistently well received. However, there were suggestions for optimizing the duration and content. We are convinced that the decision to adapt will improve the trade fair experience for everyone involved."
Dr. Markus Heering, Executive Director of the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW)
Production. Innovation. Future. As a trade fair for production, NORTEC in Hamburg offers a platform for the industry every two years. The main focus is on machine tools and manufacturing systems, precision tools, measuring and testing technology, robotics and automation, software and IT solutions, components, assemblies, accessories, operating resources and consumables, logistics and operating equipment as well as services. With numerous national and international exhibiting companies, NORTEC covers all stages of the metalworking value chain. For local production companies, but also for guests from all over Germany and neighboring European countries, it has been a must-attend event for over 30 years. For exhibitors, it is an indispensable opportunity to reach this part of the German industrial landscape in a compact format.
