Erbslöh Geisenheim AG

Once again Erbslöh Geisenheim AG will be exhibiting to representatives from the international beverage industry at this year’s INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA HORTITECHNICA on stand 3D10, in hall 3, from 27 to 30 November 2016, in Stuttgart.

Erbslöh will be announcing interesting innovations, because true to our motto of “Research gives you the edge”, the Rheingau company has been awarded two prizes for innovation.

The independent, international jury awarded Erbslöh’s new yeast nutrition conceptOenoferm® LA-C (low alcohol concept) using Oenoferm® LA-HOG yeast the special prize in the “Products to counteract the effects of climate change” category. The innovative concept developed by Dr. Jürgen Fröhlich’s team at Erbslöh can be used for both red and white wines. It also promises to improve mouthfeel through increased formation of glycerol at the expense of ethanol.

Erbslöh received the second prize for innovation - a silver medal - for development of Trenolin® BouquetPLUS by Dr. Eric Hüfner’s team. The unique ß-glycosidase formulation can be used as early as the must stage and in residually sweet wines without inhibiting sugar. It promotes the release of typical varietal aromas to a previously unknown extent.

The eSan filter bag was also recognised as an innovation by the jury of 30 experts. The eSan filter bag, developed by Erbslöh employee Thomas Jung, can be used to process small volumes of must sediment.

Beverage specialist Erbslöh is repeatedly proving its expertise on the global stage as a medium-sized company with its own research and development department.

The company will once again be exhibiting this outstanding beverage technology know-how at INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA HORTITECHNICA 2016. Erbslöh’s employees are looking forward to stimulating discussions on its stand with beverage industry specialists from around the world.
