Coolest Hotel Bar in 2025: THE FLAMINGO impressed in the Mein Tophotel Award

There are many good drinks – but who has the coolest hotel bar? Mein Tophotel asked the community this question for the first time this year – and let readers make their decision in an online vote. The response was fantastic. The result was conclusive.

The winner was the bar at THE FLAMINGO nordicwave hotel in Timmendorfer Strand.

The boutique hotel on the Baltic coast impressed with a coherent overall concept: extraordinary design, elaborate details, relaxed atmosphere – and naturally drinks which not only taste good, but also tell stories.

The bar at THE FLAMINGO is more than a place for an aperitif – it forms the heart of the hotel. At times laid-back and reserved, and at other times lively and loud, depending on the time of the day – just like the Baltic Sea.

The Award shows that bar culture depends on authenticity, a creative style and atmosphere. These concepts, in particular, will also be the focal points of INTERGASTRA 2026 – when hosts, bar professionals and trendsetters from the industry meet again in Stuttgart.
