FBMA and HSMA become the official partners of INTERGASTRA16.12.2019 - 12:03
Strong partners are needed to stage a large event such as INTERGASTRA, the leading trade fair for the hotel and gastronomy business, which will take place in Stuttgart from 15 to 19 February 2020. These partners now also include the Food & Beverage Management Association (FBMA) and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association Deutschland (HSMA).
INTERGASTRA regarded as an important industry meeting point
"INTERGASTRA is the ideal platform for discussions among colleagues and with other industry representatives from restaurants and hotels," said FBMA President Oliver Fudickar. The Food & Beverage Management Association, one of the largest F&B communities in Germany, will be represented with its own presence at the trade fair for the first time on the stand of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) in Hall 7. The members of the FMBA come from all areas of gastronomy and hotels, e.g. kitchens, service, bars, purchasing and management. They are all aware of the importance of the Stuttgart trade fair and will use INTERGASTRA, like in the past, for the purpose of networking. They are looking forward, in particular, to the exchange with international colleagues who will travel to Stuttgart for the IKA/Culinary Olympics.
HSMA, too, will present its organisation and its service portfolio on the joint stand of DEHOGA. "INTERGASTRA is the perfect place for our members and everyone interested in membership," said Georg Ziegler, President of HSMA Deutschland e. V. The HSMA represents the interests of sales and marketing specialists in hotels and tourism, and helps its members to increase their knowledge of topics such as distribution, e-commerce, revenue management/pricing, sales, MICE and (online) marketing. Georg Ziegler invites interested visitors to come to the exhibition stand of the HSMA to talk about current topics and get to know him personally.

INTERGASTRA in Stuttgart is the leading trade fair for the hotel and gastronomy business.
At INTERGASTRA 2018, over 1,400 national and international exhibitors presented their wide range of offers in the areas of kitchen systems, food, ambience and equipment for hotels and restaurants, services, beverages and coffee. Around 100,000 visitors from over 70 countries came to obtain information about the latest products, trends and future-oriented ideas on an exhibition area of more than 115,000 square metres. INTERGASTRA takes place regularly at Messe Stuttgart in conjunction with GELATISSIMO, the largest trade fair for gelato north of the Alps.

The German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) is the professional organisation for restaurateurs and hoteliers. Over 12,000 entrepreneurs from the hotel and gastronomy business have joined together in the Baden-Württemberg branch of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association.
