NEWFOOD X NOW will showcase the future of food and gastronomy during INTERGASTRA 2026
After six successful new food and start-up events, the crowdfoods Association will stage NEWFOOD X NOW, its start-up and innovation exhibition and conference, for the first time as part of INTERGASTRA 2026 from 8 to 10 February 2026.
NEWFOOD X NOW will be integrated in INTERGASTRA as a separate exhibition and conference under the motto "Taste the Future of Food & Cuisine".
During the future-oriented NEWFOOD X NOW innovation exhibition in the ICS foyer, more than 100 start-ups and innovators will have the opportunity to present their food innovations to trade visitors from restaurants, food retailers and the food industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the three INTERGASTRA days which attract the highest number of visitors.
The organisers are expecting approximately 75,000 trade visitors, including around 3,500 buyers and around 5,000 representatives from the food retail trade, at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Center.
The 3-day New Food Conference in the ICS Conference Center will be staged concurrently with the New Food Expo. The NEWFOOD X NOW Conference programme is aimed at up to 2,000 participants and will feature technical talks, talk panels and start-up pitches on all three event days.
Two networking evenings, i.e. the "Investors Night" and the "Food Buyers Night", are also scheduled to take place on 8 and 9 February 2026, and are specifically aimed at investors and purchasing managers.
All visitors to the exhibition can attend the Conference free of charge with a valid INTERGASTRA ticket. Start-ups and innovators will be able to present their new products and solutions for the gastronomy and food industry on more than 100 standardised stands. The stand packages include furniture and start at €1,750 for three days. Stands containing special fixtures and fittings such as cooking stations or refrigeration systems are available from €2,250.
