RESTAURANT OF THE FUTURE

This year again, Gastro-Report publisher Willy Faber is organising the future-oriented competition "Restaurant of the future" - Gastronomy 3.0, which since 2004 has been providing a huge input of ideas and visions for the sector. But precisely a future-oriented competition cannot stand still. "Digitalisation is the buzzword of the day," says Faber, "and with the new edition of our competition we are adapting to this development." Thus, for the presentations in the competition, this year for the first time no models will be submitted, but 3-D CAD presentations to provide information on the concepts of the upcoming generation of architects. Furthermore, for the first time the competition is cooperating with the architecture magazine BAUMEISTER and is therefore now open to young architects from the entire German-speaking region.
