The fastest way to Messe Stuttgart

In 27 minutes to the trade fair center on a direct connection – two city train lines (S-Bahn) S2 and S3 offer the fastest way to get from Stuttgart Main Station to Airport and Fair. The stop is only 200m away (or an 8 minutes' walk) from the entrance to the trade fair centre.

Almost as quick are visitors who take the tram line U6 that terminates right at the Messepiazza (a 6-minute’s walk from the Entrance East) with an additional trade fair stop at the Entrance West.

Saturday and Sunday: Easy journey to INTERGASTRA despite construction work

Deutsche Bahn will be carrying out work on the rail infrastructure in the Stuttgart area from 16 January to 9 February 2026. Some tracks will have to be closed in various sections and periods for the construction work. This affects the S2 and S3 urban railway lines, which run to Messe Stuttgart and thus also to INTERGASTRA.

How to get to Messe Stuttgart by public transport on Saturday, 7 February 2026 and Sunday, 8 February 2026:

  • Line U6 of the SSB
  • S2X direct bus Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Vollmoellerstraße – Flughafen/Messe, SAB Pos. 6
  • SXE direct bus Böblingen, central bus station, platform 10 – Flughafen/Messe, SAB Pos. 6 via Messe West

On all other days of the trade fair, Monday, 9 February 2026, Tuesday, 10 February 2026, and Wednesday, 11 February 2026, the urban railway lines S2 and S3 will run as usual to Messe Stuttgart.
