A tasting for trade visitors, as well as anyone interested in developing their wine expertise and discovering new perspectives.
This masterclass invites participants to join a guided tasting session of selected wines and will aim to provide an enjoyable workshop exploring the various approaches, characteristic styles and qualities. Christina Hilker and Thomas Porsch will guide the tasting, sharing professional expertise, personal experiences and sensory inspiration from their many years involved in the premium hotel and gastronomy sectors.
The focus will be on the careful tasting, discussion and classification of the wines, taking a practical approach that both clarifies and inspires. Participants will be guided in their sensory evaluation, the professional handling of wine and communication with guests.
Your host Christina Hilker is one of Germany’s most distinguished sommeliers. She combines her passion for wine, sensory appreciation and hospitality with an extraordinary career in fine dining.
