Beer Garden of Regional Diversity
Regional beer set to take centre stage
This development has been brewing for a while. Punters are increasingly choosing the individuality and variety of regional products over mass-produced uniformity. Since 2008, INTERGASTRAin Stuttgart has promoted the products that are meeting this growing preference for speciality beers. The “Regional Beer Garden” special show traditionally showcases the broad selection available in the south of Germany. From the Allgäu and Upper Swabia to the Tauber Valley, from the Ortenau region to the Southern Black Forest and Bavaria’s Swabia, the Regional Beer Garden covers an incomparable selection of more than 80 varieties.
The smaller breweries will have another interesting selection of unique and distinctive beer specialities to promote in 2026. Exhibits will include premium beers, some of which have already won several awards in different international competitions, ranging from the European Beer Star to the World Beer Cup.
The following breweries are represented in the “Regional Beer Garden 2026”:
- Schloßbrauerei Autenried
- Radbrauerei Gebr. Bucher
- Fischer's Brauhaus Mössingen
- Familienbrauerei Schimpf
- Privat-Brauerei Zötler

Schloßbrauerei Autenried is also home to award-winning beer. The family-run brewery from the Bavarian Swabia was recognised for not one but two of its beers as part of the European Beer Star competition. A gold medal was awarded in the category “German-Style Light Beer” for its “Schlossbräu Leicht” and also in the category “German Style Pilsner” for the brewery’s “Autenrieder Pilsener”. Deserved recognition for what is clearly an extraordinary passion and commitment to quality by the entire Feuchtmayr brewing family and their team.

The Radbrauerei Gebr. Bucher in Günzburg has committed itself to the traditional method of bottle fermentation for its famous and much-loved Günzburger Hefe-Weizen. Those familiar with the brewery of bottom-fermented beer will be excited to discover that the Günzburg brewery, managed by master brewer and beer sommelier Georg Bucher, now has two new products to promote. Georg’s Helles and Rosa’s Märzen Spezial are not only a tribute to Georg Bucher’s grandparents, who reestablished the Radbrauerei, but also a conscious reinterpretation of two of its bestselling beers.

The wonderful sound of the crown cap as its pops from the bottle. The inimitable bubbling of the beer as it foams in the glass. The joy of watching the golden colour settle. The irresistible aroma, the longing to take the first sip. The unique, full-bodied taste. And the crisp clink of glasses in toast to the next round.
Here at Fischer’s Brauhaus, we do our best to ensure this is your experience too.
With selected ingredients, brewing craftsmanship and a passion carried down through generations of brewing, we produce beer with history and character. 100% from the region. For beer connoisseurs who favour the distinctive taste of regional specialities over mass-produced uniformity.
Try it yourself! Our selection of Fischer’s beer is available directly from our brewery in Mössingen, in stores or any good restaurant in the region.

Familienbrauerei Schimpf from Neustetten-Remmingsheim specialises in non-alcoholic beers. The small 150-year-old brewery from the Gäu region, close to Rottenburg, first introduced its “s’Höpfle Bio” beer in the middle of 2021. Manufactured using organic ingredients, this is a delicious, non-alcoholic beer with a fine note of hops that lends it a refreshingly different taste to other non-alcoholic alternatives.

Traditional family-run brewery from the Allgäu - The family-run Brauerei Zötler is located in Rettenberg in the Allgäu. Here, the medium-sized company brews 13 speciality beers, two non-alcoholic beer varieties, four beer mix beverages and three craft beers. Beer brandy and non-alcoholic beverages complete the range. In 2018, Niklas Zötler took over the private brewery from his father and has been a managing partner ever since. With approx. 75 employees, Zötler is committed to brewing beer with character, the quality and continuous improvement of which are a top priority. In these efforts, the family-run company prioritises the use of regionally sourced raw materials, state-of-the-art brewing technology, long-standing brewing experience and traditional craftsmanship.
