Surf Days

After surfers caused a sensation for the first time at the 2024 Olympic Games, at this nterbad surfers demonstrated live the potential that the longing for the beach and the lifestyle of surfing can have for leisure and pool companies: A 7.5 x 15 metre mobile pool with the mobile Surf Days wave was set up in the entrance area of interbad 2024.

In live shows, the surfers demonstrated what is possible on the Surf-Days pop-up wave:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday show interludes took place at 12:00, 15:00 & 17:00 respectively.

But the aim of the Surf Days is to make the sport accessible to everyone: Two experienced surf instructors teached small groups of up to 5 people for 30 minutes each on how to take their first ‘steps’ and how to handle the Surf Days wave. The facility was available to interbad visitors free of charge.

Swimming trunks, towels and warm wetsuits had been provided.
