What exhibiting companies say about hy-fcell 2023

  • "Green technologies such as hydrogen and fuel cells are key to shaping an economy in an ecological and sustainable manner in the future and that will slow the pace of climate change. As one of the most important meeting points for the industry, the hy-fcell trade fair makes a significant contribution to strengthening Baden-Württemberg as an international location for sustainable technologies and getting projects for the future off the ground."

Winfried Kretschmann, Minister President of Baden-Württemberg

  • "hy-fcell is a superb platform for discussion and networking within the hydrogen and fuel cell industry. We need to capitalise on the enormous economic potential generated with the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy – our highly innovative companies and industry-related research institutes are prepared for this. The trade fair has managed to highlight this in a special way."

Dr. Patrick Rapp, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism

  • "Fuel cells and electrolysers represent a growth market in which we hope to reach a wide audience with our products and solutions. We are delighted to be part of the success story that is hy-fcell and are happy to help shape its future as it continues to develop. In Stuttgart, we are holding initial discussions about our applications for leak testing and hope to have concrete orders by the time the event is over."

    Michael Klenk, Product Specialist, Marposs

  • "Here at Freudenberg we have been active in the hydrogen industry for more than 20 years. When it comes to attending trade fairs, we are very selective. The key topics and special themes, an increasing international focus and the home advantage for us with close proximity to our company headquarters make this trade fair an event not to be missed. hy-fcell 2023 has been a success for us and we’re already looking forward to 2024."

Artur Mähne, Global Segment Manager Hydrogen Technologies, Freudenberg

  • "Our attendance at hy-fcell is very important for our business activities in the hydrogen industry. The event is an important platform for everyone involved in this sector. Once again, we were very impressed by the quality of the trade fair. We enjoyed some very productive conversations and, without giving too much away, even successfully finalised two projects. hy-fcell is an important event on our calendar and we are already looking forward to the opportunities that will be offered to us here in Stuttgart in future."

Achim Zeiss, Area Manager Europe, Cellimpact

  • "Our association has existed for more than 25 years now and this is certainly not our first time at hy-fcell. We have observed how the trade fair, with its presence in Stuttgart, has great significance for the region of southern Germany. At the same time, we have noticed how hy-fcell is expanding and opening up to the international market in view of the need for and importance of hydrogen to achieve ambitious climate goals. An important aspect of our participation at hy-fcell is getting to know the new companies in the industry and maintaining contact with the current members we meet here."

Philipp Markus Weiss, Head of Office (Berlin), DWV

  • "cellcentric has been exhibiting at hy-fcell for many years now. We have come to the event this year again convinced that this is where the movers and shakers for the promotion of hydrogen will meet. We are looking to connect with both the companies who deliver the necessary components, as well as those who we consider important customers. It is certainly in our interest for a leading international trade fair for hydrogen and fuel cell technology to be established here in Stuttgart."

Joachim Ladra, Head of Sales Marketing und Communication, cellcentric

  • "HZwo is here for the second time with a joint stand at hy-fcell – and this year the stand is even bigger. We are very impressed with the trade fair. It is exceptionally well organised and this is also reflected in the pleasant atmosphere. Despite the increasing focus at hy-fcell on gaining international reach, there are still many familiar faces. Generally speaking, hy-fcell represents a close community at which the quality of business is very high. Our personal highlight, in addition to the many interesting talks and presentations at our own stand, was the high density of exhibitors. We will definitely be returning, hy-fcell 2024 has already been fixed in our calendar!"

    Kristin Lötsch, Network Manager, HZwo

  • "This was our first time exhibiting at hy-fcell. We brought along our continuous operation container, which is not only used for the testing of fuel cell power modules but also the generation of electricity from green hydrogen. We had not expected the major rush of interest from visitors we experienced. We have made plenty of good contacts and had great opportunities to discuss the latest news with industry representatives. As an exhibitor of fuel cell technology, it can be difficult finding the right trade fair with all that is on offer. With the hy-fcell event taking place in Stuttgart, we are playing to a home crowd. However, the international expansion of hy-fcell with events in Canada, China and Saudi Arabia is certainly a necessary step in the direction of green energy."

Olaf Herrmann, Managing Director Moehwald, Bosch Manufacturing Solutions

  • "NOW has already appeared at hy-fcell several times. This is a very important event for us, providing us with the ideal opportunity to maintain close contact with others in the hydrogen industry and benefit from both personal and bilateral discussions. We are very impressed with the level of interaction here. As expected, we met with representatives along the entire value chain. The evening event organised as part of the hy-fcell Networking Night was a personal highlight for us, giving us a perfect chance to continue networking outside of trade fair hours. We also want to mention the brilliant job carried out by the trade fair team. There was a super friendly and professional atmosphere and the conferences were very well organised."

Maximilian Lohrer, Programme Manager Hydrogen and Fuel Cell, NOW

  • "LEA Hessen has attended hy-fcell for many years now. And this year was, once again, no different when it came to the positive response from co-exhibitors. The trade fair draws a large crowd of experts and provides a platform for discussing the latest trends and developments in the industry. Trade fairs, particularly hy-fcell, are very important to us. We are focused on the component and supplier industry and hy-fcell provides the perfect opportunity to come into contact with its representatives. And the Speaker’s Corner is definitely a highlight for us!"

Martin Gross, Project Manager | Hydrogen State Office, LEA Hessen

  • "ZSW has been active in the hydrogen industry for 35 years. We are exhibiting at hy-fcell for the second time, however have been following the former f-cell as a visitor or exhibitor for years. We have, to a certain extent, grown with the trade fair over the years. hy-fcell is almost like a big family get-together for us, with plenty of exciting and informative discussions. It was once again definitely worth our while attending. The event continues to cover more industry-related content and can no longer be considered a purely science trade fair. To a far greater extent, it is a networking platform that provides opportunities to make yourself known, arrange meetings, do business. One particular highlight of the two-day trade fair is the chance to engage with political representatives. We are already looking forward to attending hy-fcell 2024."

Markus Hölzle, Member of the Board of ZSW, ZSW

  • "hy-fcell 2023 is bringing people together who are actively involved in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. People who are demonstrating that our innovative products and ideas are no longer just starting out but are now ready for large-scale industrial use. As a location, Baden-Württemberg boasts a varied landscape of top-class companies, research institutes and application projects. They are demonstrating just how to expand on a successful hydrogen economy. The state agency e-mobil BW has been supporting and further promoting the development of skills in the state for many years. The cluster Fuel Cell BW was established exactly ten years ago by e-mobil BW and is today a strong hydrogen industry network with more than 240 partners. With the H2BW platform, Baden-Württemberg is strategically focused on developing a universal hydrogen economy with players from the fields of science and the economy."

Franz Loogen, Managing Director of the State Agency for New Mobility Solutions and Automotive, e-mobil BW
