NOW GmbH

The NOW GmbH  brings their knowledge to the interface between politics, industry and research. As a federally owned GmbH, they take assignments from federal ministries in the areas of sustainable mobility and energy supply. These include the implementation and coordination of funding programmes. In addition, they accompany strategic processes on behalf of these ministries, shape international cooperations and are committed to the social acceptance of green technologies.

NOW GmbH's founding mandate is the National Innovation Programme Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP). The programme, which is now in its second phase, ensures continuity for research and development and promotes the market activation of corresponding products. Their portfolio has expanded considerably since our Founding in 2008.

Technologically, our tasks today include the areas of hydrogen, fuel cells, batteries and regenerative fuels - on the propulsion and infrastructure side.
