Quick, convenient travel
The A8 motorway (east-west connection) runs right alongside the trade fair grounds. Multiple exits make for rapid arrivals and departures. After a short drive, visitors and exhibitors also have access to the north-south axis of the A81.
Stuttgart city is an environmental zone. Only vehicles displaying a green sticker are permitted within this zone. Because Messe Stuttgart is outside the city precincts, you do not need an environmental sticker when you visit a trade fair or conference. If you plan to visit the city afterwards or stay in the city overnight, you will require an emissions sticker for your vehicle.
More information about the emissions sticker.
6,700 parking spaces are available directly at the trade fair grounds. What’s more, the adjoining airport car parks can be used. More information on parking spaces and fees is available here.
Charging stations and car2go
There are three EnBW charging stations in front of Entrance East. Electric cars and electrically powered two-wheelers (e.g. e-bikes, pedelecs) can be charged here in virtually no time.
At the charging station car2go customers can directly hire or park electric vehicles from the Stuttgart mobility supplier. Site overview (PDF, 917 KB).
Free charging points are also available at the neighbouring airport. More information.
Please note that demand for the charging stations at our grounds is high, and it may not always be possible to charge vehicles.
