Information for people with disability

In cooperation with a specialist advisory body, the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre was designed to be barrier-free for people with physical disabilities.

Barrier-free routing

For barrier-free routing around the trade fair site and the location of the toilets and car-parks for the disabled, please refer to the PDF below: barrier-free routing Messe Stuttgart (PDF, 486 KB).

In addition, there is an information desk and a cashier for the disabled at the Entrances West and East.

For a deposit of 50 EUR, people with a walking disability can borrow wheelchairs at the East and West entrances. Please call in advance for a reservation at +49 711 6696-1307. Visiting the new Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre with electric wheelchairs is authorised.

Toilets for the disabled are situated at the East and West entrances, in the ICS and at the head of each hall. The toilets are accessible with the European Universal key.

“Bathrooms for Everyone” are located in the Entrance West and in the ICS near the Entrance East. There, visitors find everything they need for their personal hygiene such as height-adjustable couches and electric person lifters for the safe transfer of a person from the wheelchair to the toilet or couch with ample room for assistants who help with the hygiene.

Barrier-free elevators

Barrier free elevators are situated at the entrances, in the ICS and in the round course walkway connecting the hall. There are also seven elevators in the Bosch Parking Garage.

Parking spaces for the disabled are situated near the exits to the trade fair in the Bosch Parking Garage and in the ICS underground parking garage near Entrance East.
