"Grafensteige" premium hiking trails
On the Grafensteige premium hiking trails (between 6.5 and 10 kilometres long) you can walk through the delightful low mountain landscape of the Swabian Alb to roaring waterfalls, wild romantic gorges, interesting caves, impressive castle ruins and breathtaking viewing rocks along the edge of the Alb. They all have one thing in common, i.e. the extremely sporting demands, since you have to cope with the ascent to the Alb plateau on every steep track. But it's worthwhile!
The Grafensteige are sporty circular footpaths which have been rated as premium hiking trails by the German Hiking Institute, i.e. you hike along very varied natural paths which are well signposted!
