The f-cell award fosters innovation and acknowledges outstanding developments in one of the most future-proof fields of technology – hydrogen and fuel cells.

Since 2001, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector and the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation have supported the f-cell award.

There are normally two categories available for Award submissions. The cash prizes are €10,000 for each category.

Award Categories

Primarily directed at academia, universities and research institutes. Businesses are also welcome to enter relevant R&D projects.

Judging criteria and weighting are as follows: Level of innovation (50 %), Market potential (25 %), Environmental and social benefits (25 %).

For companies and cooperation partners with market-oriented research and application ideas from the field of hydrogen and fuel cells.
