CMT China is the Chinese offshoot of the Stuttgart tourism trade fair CMT, the world's largest consumer show for tourism and leisure. It has been taking place in Nanjing, the capital of the partner region of Baden-Württemberg, Jiangsu, since 2012.
As at the big brother event in Stuttgart, at “CMT China” the focus is on the large tourism sector with local and international destinations and providers, as well as the theme of Camping and Caravaning. Here, Chinese and international manufacturers of motorhomes, caravans and outdoor equipment, as well as accessory specialists, present themselves.
Trendy themes such as individual tours abroad, self-drive holidays and theme holidays are also given prominent space at the trade fair, reflecting modern-day tourist trends in China. The trade fair is accompanied by a colourful framework programme with stage shows in which the individual destinations present country-specific dances and performances.
For the edition of 2019, CMT China presented at its highlight section the agritourism, a new lifestyle becoming more and more popular, also for the Chinese public.
