Sustainable use of lighting

The term sustainability is used often and sometimes in a very general meaning. The lecture series on the topic of lighting was intended to change that:

The introduction of LEDs has made the world of lighting more efficient and sustainable already. The current phase-out of fluorescent lamps again leads to more refurbishment activities that have to be handled well. The sustainability of the lamps themselves including their required ability to be repaired, and the circular design of lamps to keep the resources in circulation, are part of the challenge.  

In their lectures, the experts shared their extensive knowledge of future-oriented strategies for energy efficient and resource sensitive lighting concepts.
