Seabery leads the profitable development of AR technologies for the educational sector

Per experts in education worldwide, Augmented Reality is one of the major Ed tech trends for 2017. AR is the basis of the Augmented Training proposal, now implemented in educational centres across Europe to train qualified welders in an efficient and sustainable way. Per experts in education, Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the major Ed Tech trends that will enhance the teaching-learning experience in 2017, together with active learning, maker spaces, robotics and STEAM, among others. Besides, the global AR market is expected to reach USD 56.8 Billion by 2020, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 79.61% between 2015 and 2020 (source: Markets and markets). Augmented Reality is precisely the basis of Seabery’s innovative proposal: the concept Augmented Training, which also involves new methodologies supported by different tools that makes learning more attractive for students and enables teachers to offer them a personalized learning path, opening a new paradigm in the training of future qualified professionals. This proposal includes the use Soldamatic Augmented Training, the first AR welding simulator worldwide developed by Seabery and implemented in educational centres across Europe to train qualified welders in an efficient and sustainable way, like the GSI Welding Center in Oberhausen Germany and .. Governments and multinational industrial companies from different sectors -automotive, manufacturing, machinery…- like Volkswagen, Mercedes, Man, John Deere, BIBA or Liehberr, among many others, have trusted on Soldamatic to train their personnel in specific procedures more efficiently. Eine Verwendung des Bildmaterials ist ausschließlich bei Einhaltung der folgenden Nutzungsbedingungen gestattet:

  • Eine Verfremdung oder sonstige Abänderung der Bilder ist nicht gestattet.
