CMTdigital. ready, set, go!
January 26th is approaching - and with it the premiere of CMTdigital! Participants can expect a day full of innovations and information. Exactly what they can expect from a regular CMT. "We are delighted that so many of our exhibitors are taking up the offer of a digital presentation as part of CMT, the novelty show at the beginning of the year. At CMTdigital, we are showing a cross-section of what usually takes place in our halls and our conference rooms in January," says Guido von Vacano, member of the Board of Management at Messe Stuttgart.
At www.cmt-messe.de, all interested participants can now find an overview of the entire CMTdigital program. It includes around 40 events from all areas of CMT. Journalists, bloggers and trade visitors can look forward to press conferences, product presentations and B2B offers.
How it works
CMTdigital will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. The program starts at 9 a.m. with the presentation of the latest travel analysis figures by tourism expert Prof. Dr. Martin Lohmann. This will be followed by around 40 press conferences and product presentations. In parallel streams, manufacturers from the caravanning and accessories industry will show their innovations, while destinations will present their offerings for the coming season.
The program will be supplemented by exciting discussion rounds, some of which will be streamed live (including the camping pitch summit on the topic of "Rural Holidays in Baden-Württemberg" or the fvw industry panel discussion "Where is the journey heading?" on the prospects for the tourism industry in 2021) or can be accessed on-demand (including "Pilgrimage in Baden-Württemberg" or the ADFC roundtable "Germany by Bike").
The hub of CMTdigital are the television studios on the Stuttgart trade fair grounds. From here, the majority of the press conferences, product presentations and sessions will be streamed live. The program is aimed primarily at trade visitors and media representatives.
Participation in the livestream
Thanks to the streaming offer, trade visitors and media representatives have the opportunity to inform themselves digitally and live about the innovations of the different CMT segments and to ask their questions directly to the responsible persons - without having to be present on site.
To participate in the livestream, pre-registration is required. All you need to do is enter your name and a valid e-mail address. The link to the streaming platform will then be sent by e-mail (for pre-registration on January 25, for later registration shortly after registration).
After logging in to the platform, viewers can choose between different livestreams (tourism or caravanning) or access pre-recorded content on demand. For stress-free participation, pre-registration is strongly recommended. This is possible starting from Thursday, 14 January, under www.cmt-messe.de.
Content produced during CMTdigital will also be available beyond January 26 and can be accessed via www.cmt-messe.de. The registration described above is also necessary for this.
Participation on site
Media representatives will also have the opportunity to take a closer look at the new products presented from the caravanning sector on site at the Stuttgart trade fair center, to talk to brand managers and to produce pictures and footage. The vehicles are exhibited in a hall, so that compliance with existing distance regulations is possible without any problems.
The offer of on-site participation is aimed exclusively at media representatives (journalists, bloggers and vloggers) who can present appropriate proof of activity. The number of participants is limited. Accreditation for on-site participation is mandatory and possible from Thursday, January 14, at www.cmt-messe.de. On-site accreditation is not possible.
