Comments by exhibitors at CMT 2019

  • CMT offered the perfect opening to our anniversary year - 40 years of Carthago and Malibu. Visitors expressed a great deal of interest, which corresponded to the same high level as that in 2018. Our flagship, the Carthago liner-for-two, became a real hit. It was the only model to celebrate its world première at CMT 2018. One year later, it was a top seller as a complete series in Stuttgart and is winning awards for the first time. We were also very busy on our Malibu stand during the nine days of the exhibition. The Malibu Van Charming GT proved very popular while the wide range of Malibu mobile homes in Hall 5 also attracted large crowds. We are therefore going home satisfied and are looking forward to the start of the spring season.“

  • We always like coming to Stuttgart. You obtain an extensive overview of holidays here. That's why CMT is one of the best-attended exhibitions. The visitors are also very knowledgeable, especially compared with other exhibitions. A large number of visitors came to our stand well-prepared. CMT was also superbly organised.   • This year's CMT once again proved to be an extremely successful exhibition for us and we got to know a large number of new and interesting people.   • There was very high demand and Tunisia is becoming more popular again. We met interesting visitors of all ages. In particular, they showed keen interest in specific tour arrangements. The weekends were absolutely crazy, but the exhibition was also well-attended during the week. The strategy of longer opening hours was therefore a total success. There was more time for personal discussions. It was good to see our stand attracted some families who had been on holiday in Tunisia last year and booked it again. We are very satisfied!

  • We took part in CMT for the second time. The exhibition turned out be a total success. We encountered a great deal of interest and received numerous inquiries. The visitors to CMT like travelling and also have time to do so. Some people knew exactly want they wanted while others were generally interested in a holiday to Namibia. I am very satisfied.   • We were delighted with the wide interest in our holidays in Greece. People asked about everything from small individual accommodation facilities, ferry crossings and circular tours through to stays in luxury hotels. It was noticeable that Baden-Württemberg is home to a large number of Greece enthusiasts. We therefore assume that 2019 will also again be an excellent year for Greece.   • CMT was well-attended on every day and it was almost impossible to move at times. We were also very satisfied with the quality of the discussions since at this CMT only a few visitors took something home. Nevertheless, we found it hard keeping up with the need to replenish information material. The exhibition turned out very well for us.   • The interest in our presentation was well above average, and our product met with a very favourable response. The visitors certainly included people who can afford something.   • Our attendance at CMT was a total success. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of Hahn Automobile at CMT, the 25th anniversary of our participation in the exhibition and five years of the Hahn Bulli Club! The van section has grown the fastest in the last few years. Customers are looking for multi-functionality and flexibility. Our new 'Grand California‘ therefore went down very well with visitors. Everything functioned perfectly and we are satisfied!

  • I generally rate CMT 2019 as positive: we held pleasant discussions and concluded good business. Overall, there was a good mood among the dealers. I especially like the Bulli Area since shorter distances for customers means less stress. This has an effect on the willingness to make purchases. We have been coming to CMT for many years and will return next year.

  • Compared with the previous year, we recorded a slight increase at CMT 2019. Camping has developed very positively as a holiday form and has acquired an entirely new image.   • There were enormous crowds throughout the tent section. The trend is more towards glamping, furniture and lounge furniture. Many visitors were well-informed and showed they had a great deal of experience with tents.   • Caravaning is generally more popular than ten years ago. We determined that the caravaning section is also continuously becoming more important at CMT. A large number of customers obtained their information here prior to making a purchase. This applies to all brands. Our presentation concept certainly proved to be a total success.   • It is my first time here at CMT. I find the exhibition fantastic! It was very busy, and we received a very positive response. All our travel organisers are extremely satisfied with their number of bookings. Visitors were interested in all parts of the country, while many of them knew a great deal about India. A couple visited our stand yesterday. They had been to India 53 times in the last 30 years and wanted information about their next holiday!

  • CMT 2019 was once again a very good exhibition which was always very busy. Colleagues who have been coming here for 25 years said that it was the best ever CMT.   • Serbia has been represented at CMT for nine years. We have been extending our presence during this period and Germans are paying more attention to Serbia as a tourist destination.
