Strong participation from the Turkish casting industry at CastForge 2026

This year, 63 Turkish companies participated in the CastForge, and Turkey became the country with the highest international participation on a square meter basis. The fair, which reached an international participation rate of about 75 %, stood out as one of the important organizations that guide the development of the sector on a global scale.

Turkish Casting Industrialists' Association (TÜDÖKSAD) took part in the fair with the participation of General Secretary Tunçağ Cihangir Şen and Business Manager Seyhan Tangül Yılmaz. The TÜDÖKSAD delegation met with its members during the fair, made assessments on the current state of the sector and made various contacts with international sector representatives.

TÜDÖKSAD delegation visited the booth of a total of 33 member companies with the participation of Vice President Arda Çetin and Board Members Ali Esat Kutmangil and Şükrü Keçebir during the fair.

During the visits, opinions were exchanged about the companies' activities in international bazaars, export performances, new business opportunities and sectoral expectations.

In addition, the DigiFoundry Virtual Casting Training Game Project, which was carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association (IDDMIB) and in cooperation with TÜDÖKSAD, was introduced to the visitors at the fair. The casting training simulation developed with the support of the European Union and Erasmus+ and prepared within the scope of the project in which Turkey, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic took part as partners was presented to the taste of the visitors at the TÜDÖKSAD stand.

During the presentation held at the CastForge Forum area, Tunçağ Cihangir Şen, General Secrtary of TÜDÖKSAD, gave information about the current situation of the Turkish casting industry and current developments in the sector. Şen also invited industry representatives to the 76th World Foundry Congress, which will be held in Istanbul on October 18-24, 2026.

On the second day of the fair, the purchasing delegation consisting of members of the German Material Management, Purchasing and Logistics Association (BME) visited TÜDÖKSAD member companies within the scope of the tour guided by our General Secrtary Şen.

CastForge 2026 once again demonstrated the strong position of the Turkish casting industry in international bazaars, while offering industry representatives the opportunity to develop new business associations and strengthen their existing commercial relations.
