GF Casting Solutions receives EcoVadis Gold Medal 2023 for the first time

GF Casting Solutions has been awarded the gold medal by the sustainability-rating agency EcoVadis in March 2023 for continuous improvements in the environment, social affairs and governance structures.

GF Casting Solutions was awarded the Gold Medal 2023 for special achievements in the sustainability area. This award positions GF Casting Solutions among the top 5% of companies worldwide in Corporate Social Responsibility and among the top 4% of companies within the "Casting of Metals Industry".

EcoVadis is a global sustainability rating and assessment platform that evaluates the environmental and social achievements of companies based on 21 sustainability criteria grouped into four categories: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics as well as Sustainable Procurement. The platform is used by over 75.000 companies in 160 countries and its ratings are recognized by many global organizations.

According to EcoVadis, GF Casting Solutions is a “company with a strong greenhouse gas management system and best-in-class decarbonization structures”. This is a significant step for GF Casting Solutions towards achieving its goals within the sustainability frame of Strategy 2025 and strengthen the position as a global leader in sustainability and innovation in the foundry-industry.
