Possible applications for the company’s Motoman robots include tool handling, processing and palletizing workpieces, as well as machine loading. At exhibition stand 6D50 a focus will be placed on the latest developments.
An attention-getter at the Yaskawa stand will be a show cell in which two MotoMINI robots move at lightning speed. With a range of 350 mm, the new MotoMINI – the smallest model to be added to the Motoman robot portfolio – offers a carrying capacity of 500 g. As a lightweight high-speed robot, the compact 6-axis robot combines fast cycle rates with a high repeat accuracy of 0.03 mm. It was specially developed for the handling and assembly of small workpieces. The control unit is likewise small and lightweight: the MotoMINI is operated with the new Motoman YRC1000micro high-performance controller. This hand-held programmer, the lightest in its category at only 730 g, is ergonomically and clearly arranged.
Further developments and new programmer
In addition, Yaskawa will be exhibiting an enhancement of the Motoman HC10collaborative robot and a programming pendant of the next generation. With the model variant HC10DT (DT stands for “Direct Teach”), programming can optionally be carried out directly via the robot arm.
This “Easy Teaching” is made possible by additional function keys on the robot arm. The HC10DT can also be easily programmed and operated in conjunction with the new Smart Pendant programmer. The latter requires the user to remember less and less data, e.g. commands, values and the entire operating sequence.
There are likewise innovations with regard to the MotoLogix software interface: the spectrum of supported platforms now includes the standard EtherCAT. Above and beyond EtherCAT, integrated solutions on the basis of POWERLINK, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET are still possible with MotoLogix. Yaskawa Motoman robots can thus be quickly and simply programmed and controlled in the standard IEC-61131 environment.zurück zur Übersicht
