IMAGO Technologies introduces new condition monitoring camera

IMAGO Technologies, a leading manufacturer of industrial cameras, introduced its new condition monitoring camera, the Industrial DashCam 1 000.

The camera complements the existing line of Industrial DashCams and offers a number of new features and enhancements that make it one of the most powerful and versatile condition monitoring cameras on the market. What does that mean exactly?

The Industrial DashCam 1 000 monitors machine operations and technical equipment in real time. It rec-ords high-resolution video at up to 1,000 frames per second to capture details of even the fastest machine operations. The recordings can be used for early planning of maintenance work, prevention of production downtime and remote monitoring of machine conditions.

The Industrial DashCam 1 000 records video sequences up to 20 seconds long and stores them in a standard video format in the camera. Thanks to a ring buffer, only data from the relevant period before, during or after a specific trigger input is captured. This prevents the creation of a flood of data that would require time-consuming analysis.

The camera can be accessed and played back from a computer. Many video players can also show slow-motion displays, so scenes can be analyzed in detail and slowly.

Carsten Strampe, Managing Director of IMAGO Technologies, is convinced that the Industrial DashCam 1 000 is an important milestone for operators of series-produced machines: “The camera offers our custom-ers a new possibility to make their machines and plants see. This can help extend the life of machines.”

The Industrial DashCam 1 000 is available for pre-order now.
