New colleagues now supporting Sales & Marketing team in Guest Events division of Messe Stuttgart
There have been changes to staff in the Sales & Marketing team of Messe Stuttgart’s Guest Events division. The latest additions to the team are project managers Nihal Özoktas and Philipp Merkt.
Nihal Özoktas, who spent the past few years working in sales at a large media company in the financial sector, now has the opportunity to put her expertise from this sector to good use. She now looks after customers from the financial and IT sectors.
Philipp Merkt, on the other hand, is mainly responsible for the automotive sector. The sales professional was most recently a sales manager for the region of southern Germany, working with cinema chains CinemaxX and Cinestar.
A familiar face is back on the team as well. Corina Fabel, who until recently was on parental leave, has returned to her position as marketing project manager. She and Gudrun Richter are responsible for organising all marketing activities in the Guest Events division.
Those who would like to meet the Sales & Marketing team will have the chance to do so at IMEX in Frankfurt, ibtm world in Barcelona and The Meetings Show in London.
The team members also travel around a lot in general. “We go wherever our customers are and visit the relevant events and event fairs to improve relations with existing customers or make new contacts,” says team director Claudia Döttinger. Her team focus on marketing in the financial, IT, automotive and medical sectors. “Furthermore, we are the right event location for a diverse range of events relating to all sorts of sectors,” says Döttinger.

Ease of access, size and versatility: That’s what sets Messe Stuttgart apart. The location of the sustainably constructed trade fair and congress centre alongside Stuttgart Airport, with its direct links to the A 8 motorway and public transport offers perfect conditions for getting to and from the site. Event organisers benefit from the wide range of usage options provided by the 105,200 m² of hall space, 40,000 m² of open-air grounds and 33 multi-functional rooms in the adjoining ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart. That alone offers space for up to 10,000 visitors. Consequently, these facilities enable several events to be staged simultaneously. With this infrastructure, Messe Stuttgart and the ICS have developed into internationally acclaimed locations for top-class trade fairs, congresses, conferences, as well as corporate functions and events of all kinds.
An additional exhibition hall will increase the available hall space to 120,000 m² by 2018.
