INTERGASTRA provides an unparalleled overview of new developments and innovations in the hospitality branch with its sectors hotel, gastronomy, community catering, confectionary  and café. The trade fair presents a high-quality offering of new products and services for restaurateurs, hoteliers, cooks, community caterers, service-stuff, system caterers, bakers and makers of cakes and pastries in the out-of-house-market with clearly arranged, themed halls.

Record breaker

The 27th INTERGASTRA broke all records: the trade fair set new standards with around 100,000 square metres of exhibition space, 1,300 exhibitors and almost 90,000 trade visitors and a wider catchment area. The first-class accompanying programme provided some additional highlights with competitions such as Bocuse d’Or – Selection Germany, the Master Chef of the Year or the “European Championship of Gelato”. More than 100 German star chefs came to Stuttgart for the “Night of Stars” at the Mövenpick Hotel Airport & Messe.

Perspective 2018

Best future prospects for INTERGASTRA: Everything that was impressive at the 28th INTERGASTRA will be even better in 2018. The fact that exhibition halls are divided according to specific topics enables a grouping into six categories: Kitchen systems, Food, Coffee & Cakes, Gelatissimo, Ambience and equipment as well as Beverages. Also INTERGASTRA scores with its special areas including accompanying congress-programme and Fokus Hotel.
