Since February 2011 Messe Stuttgart has been represented on the Chinese trade fair market with its own subsidiary, Messe Stuttgart Nanjing Ltd.. The aim is to position the company as one of the most important international trade fair organisers in the largest growth market of the world through the development of trade fair themes close to the market and the transfer of the Stuttgart trade fair brands.
The portfolio of Messe Stuttgart Nanjing Ltd. currently includes the machine tool trade fair "AMB China", as well as the tourism trade fair "CMT China", which are both implemented at the highly attractive location of Nanjing. Within the framework of the internationalisation strategy, Messe Stuttgart focused its attention on the Chinese market whose economic structure proved particularly interesting for the Stuttgart trade fair portfolio.
