The electrical sector in focus

eltefa is the largest regional trade fair in the electrical sector. It is focussed on both the commercial and industrial sectors of electrotechnical applications. The core competency at eltefa is intelligent house and building engineering. There is a drive in this area for energy efficiency, comfort and security in the e-house. In addition, eltefa provides a unique overview of the entire range of products and services in the electrical sector: IT infrastructure, electrical engineering, electronics, smart homes, measurement and testing technology, measurement and sensor systems, security systems, solar technology, regenerative energies, lighting systems, information and communication systems, electric drive technology, industrial control units, electric mobility and much more.

Accompanying programme

Associations, institutes, organisations and industry publishers bring together innovations from exhibitors and expertise in special shows, pavilion, and at forums and congresses. Examples of special shows include "Innovative communications technology with optimal networking of trade", "e-house – the smart home of tomorrow" and "e-mobility in Baden-Württemberg". The fourth Baden-Württemberg "Sicherheitstag" (Security Day) is dedicated to "Acute sources of danger for networked trade and IT networks". For the fifth time, the coveted security prize was awarded for exemplary solutions in Baden-Württemberg. The "Decentralised and regenerative energy" pavilion is a veritable treasure trove for experts.

Light & architecture

In odd-numbered years – when the Light+Building trade show does not take place – eltefa is the most important platform for light and architecture. It attracts architects, construction engineers and planners through e-trade and its architecture day called "AID – Architekt & Ingenieur im Dialog" (Architects & Engineers in Dialogue). The lighting systems area fascinates visitors in many ways, from new applications of LED technology through to innovative light structures. As part of the architecture and engineering day (which takes place on the final day of the trade fair and features prominent guest speakers), architects, engineers, planners and industrial representatives can meet to share expertise and experience.
