Then you are at the right place at Messe Stuttgart, an international trade fair company. We offer the following training and education opportunities:

Training provided by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), training to become an Event Management Assistant:
The training takes three years and concludes by sitting an IHK examination. The academic element takes place at the Robert Schuman Vocational College in Baden-Baden. The vocational college classes include six two-week blocks per year. The practical training involves the design, organisation and specific target-group marketing of in-house or guests events and congresses, as well as the support and supervision of events during their implementation. We provide our trainees with comprehensive and practical know-how and expertise, which optimally prepares them for the requirements as an Event Management Assistant.


DHBW degree:
The business degree takes three years in total and corresponds to the concept of the University of Cooperative Education in the dual system. The practical training is integrated into the course - the perfect combination of theory and practice. Our cooperation partner is the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education in Baden-Württemberg (DHBW). The theory phases at the DHBW and the practical elements with us in the company rotate every three months. The students graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (m/f).

The practical elements include the planning, organisation and realisation of our trade fairs, events and guests events, as well as event marketing and sales. Besides the general content of a business administration degree, the theory elements also include event and project management, intercultural management, event psychology, trade fair construction and event design, marketing and market research.

In the practical phases at Messe Stuttgart the focus is on PR. The learning content includes the journalistic and media-compatible preparation of information, independent writing and maintenance of social media channels. It also involves the planning and implementation of specific target-group and cross-media marketing and communication measures.

In the practical phases at Messe Stuttgart the focus is on marketing and communication. The learning content includes the planning and implementation of special target-group marketing and communication measures, as well as a profound insight into the activities online marketing, graphic and media production, as well as corporate design.
