Carl Moser elected to the board of AHK Japan

With Carl Moser, the branch manager of Vollmer Japan, Vollmer is represented on the board of the AHK (Chamber of Commerce Abroad) Japan for the first time. The German lives in Japan and has been responsible for the successful development of Vollmer's Japanese branch since 2020.

With his new honorary position in the AHK Japan, he can contribute his experience and the view of a classic medium-sized company to the work of the board. AHK Japan is part of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which has more than 460 members in Japan. Since 1962, the organisation has been supporting companies that want to start or expand their foreign business there.

At the 61st Annual General Meeting of AHK Japan, Carl Moser was elected to the board of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Japan for an initial two-year term. The organisation supports start-ups as well as established companies that want to establish themselves in Japan or intensify their business there. Carl Moser is the branch manager of Vollmer Japan and has been at home in the Land of the Rising Sun for many years. Vollmer has been active in Japan for more than 20 years and has had a foothold there for a long time. Just over a year ago, Vollmer moved into a new company building in Ageo, a city about 40 kilometres north of Tokyo. With Carl Moser, a classic representative of German SMEs joins the board of AHK Japan.

I would like to use my voluntary work in the AHK Japan to further strengthen the good network of the German and Japanese business communities," says Carl Moser. "In particular, I am interested in facilitating access to the Japanese market for young and medium-sized companies from Germany."

Japan plays a central role in our positioning on the Asian market and is also important for our internationalisation. The election of Carl Moser to the AHK board shows that Vollmer has gained a foothold in Japan. Vollmer's activities and Moser's personal commitment will undoubtedly help to further strengthen German-Japanese cooperation.
